What is Psychotherapy? Psychotherapy is a collaborative, supportive process that helps you understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful changes in your life. It offers a confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and relationships in a way that feels safe and non-judgemental. This may include making sense of past experiences and how they shape you today, you may wish to develop healthier ways of coping, improve emotional regulation or understand patterns in your relationships. Whatever it is that brings you to therapy, the hope is to foster confidence, clarity and a stronger sense of self. The optimal frequency for Psychotherapy is weekly Each session lasts 50 minutes and this is your time to explore what feels important to you. What I ask of you in therapy. Therapy works best when it is a shared, active process. To help you get the most from our work together, I ask you to bring: Honesty and openness Commitment to yourself Active participation Therapy is not something that is done to you, it's something we do together.
